New Crew Member Setup

Welcome to the High Bridge Development team!

We're glad to have you on board. This page has everything you need to get set up — your accounts, our apps, and two short trainings you can complete right here. Work through each section in order before your first day, check it off as you go, and reach out if you hit any snags.

Your Company Email (Google Workspace)

Your company email address is jacob@highbridgedev.com. It runs on Google Workspace, so you'll use it to sign in to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.

📧 Set it up

  • Sign in at gmail.com with the temporary password provided separately. You'll be prompted to create your own password on first login.
  • Turn on 2-step verification when prompted — this is required.
  • Add the account to your phone (Gmail app or your phone's mail app) so you can be reached in the field.
Use this address for all company communication — clients, subs, vendors, and the team. Please don't use personal email for company business.
2

JobTread (Project Management)

JobTread is where we run our projects — schedules, budgets, daily logs, photos, documents, and client/vendor records all live there.

🛠 Get in

  • You'll receive an invite to your jacob@highbridgedev.com email. Accept it and set your password.
  • Download the JobTread mobile app (iOS/Android) and log in — you'll use it daily on job sites.
  • Get in the habit of adding daily log notes to the correct job.
If something isn't in JobTread, it didn't happen.

🎓 JobTread training (first week)

Spend some time with JobTread's training videos during your first week — they're short and well organized.

  • In-app: click the Help icon inside JobTread to find training videos sorted by category. Focus on the Project Management topics: scheduling, tasks, daily logs, and time tracking.
  • Online: jobtread.com/resources/training has video tutorials, walkthroughs, and recorded sessions.

HBD Daily Task Board

This is our internal crew scheduling app at app.highbridgedev.com — it's how you'll know what you're doing each day.

📱 Set it up

  • Go to app.highbridgedev.com and log in with the credentials provided separately.
  • Save it to your phone's home screen (in your browser: Share → Add to Home Screen) so it works like an app.
  • Check the board every morning for your assigned tasks, locations, and priorities. Mark tasks complete as you finish them, and use comments to flag questions or issues.
  • You'll also get text and/or email notifications when new tasks are assigned to you — make sure your cell number on file is correct.
Training Task Board Crew Training — complete before your first day (~8 min)
4

CompanyCam (Job Site Photos)

CompanyCam is our photo documentation app — every job site photo goes here, automatically organized by project and location.

📷 Set it up & use it

  • You'll receive an invite to your jacob@highbridgedev.com email. Download the CompanyCam app (iOS/Android) and log in.
  • Take photos of everything: before conditions, progress, anything behind walls before it gets covered up (plumbing, electrical, framing), completed work, and any damage or issues you find.
  • Make sure photos land in the correct project — the app uses your location to suggest the right one, but double-check.
These photos protect you, the company, and the client. When in doubt, take the picture.
5

Receipts & Purchases (Dext)

Any time you buy something for a job — materials, fuel, rentals — the receipt gets captured in the Dext app right after purchase. The full training below covers the app, the three fields we require, and photo standards. If you don't have Dext installed and logged in yet, see Leonard or the office before your first supply run.

Training Dext Receipt Capture — snap it before you leave the counter (~10 min)
6

The Warehouse

Our warehouse/shop is located at 2700 Holloway Road, Suite 110A, Louisville, KY 40299.

🔑 What to know

  • This is where we store materials, tools, and equipment. You'll often start your day here or swing by for pickups before heading to a job site.
  • Tools and materials checked out of the warehouse need to come back — if you take it, you're responsible for it.
  • Access details (door code/key) will be provided on your first day.

Payroll runs through Gusto.

💵 Status: nothing more needed
